Two new members, an affiliate and a button

This is the official fanlisting for David Braithwaite, from the ITV Comedy Drama, At Home With The Braithwaites.

David Braithwaite is not a good man. David Braithwaite is not a wise man. David Braithwaite, in fact, has very few redeeming qualities. He's a poor father. He's a sub-standard husband. He's selfish, cowardly and has problems with women and alcohol - usually at the same time. He varies between spectacularly idiotic and vaguely drippy. He's insensitive and completely unsubtle. He's got a short temper, a silly Yorkshire accent and a twisted family history. He is, to be frank, a complete and utter Pillock. And that's why we love him.

Somehow, though, despite his many failings David manages to be quite likeable in an odd sort of way. Maybe it's the fact that he's incredibly funny, maybe it's the fact that he's constantly frustrated, maybe it's the forlorn hope that there's someone essentially good buried under all that unpleasant exterior, maybe it's just the fact that (silly accent notwithstanding) he's played superbly by the actor Peter Davison. Whatever reason you're a fan, take a look around and add your name to the rediculously small group of David Braithwaite enthusiasts!
